Hailing from Lodi, California the Rebel's Mother sound is powerful, technical, melodic and fast. It has groove and intelligence. Their heavy metal sound reaches fans of old school thrash as well as fans of modern day grooves. Their debut album "The Dark Unknown" was released in 1998 and immediately received airplay across the U.S., Europe and Australia. Artist History
Formed in 1995, Rebel's Mother was not to be your typical thrash band. The first unique feature was Melanie, a female drummer with lethal double bass. The next unusual addition was Jeremy, a lyricist writing from the perspective of the Christian faith. As a former student of Soul Motor guitarist Tommy McClendon, his axe attack is a major part of their heavy sound. The blast became a double barrel with Chris who added a second guitar to the arsenal along with the grace of piano and vocal harmonies.
