It amazes me that it makes it through the system unchecked. Inside are coded messages from another world in various forms of assorted media. The letters have words, but the language is unknown. The symbols have meaning, but their relevance is latent. The CD's have sounds that are truly unclassifiable, yet somehow strangely familiar. Breakbeats are broken down and melded with low drones, buzzes, clicks and whirrs. Samples of speech and media are mutated to sound like transmissions from the Astral Plane. The pace is hectic, spastic even. This is the Yarn of the Moonfruit. Mike Ortiz is the ambassador of the Frequency Development Center and his sound evolves faster than a mutation bathed in psychedelic radiation.
