Artist description
A young Canadian band with quite a variety of styles.
Play original songs with love for both the natural
tone of an acousic guitar and the sharp distortion
of an electric. Lyrics are usually beautifully
sad, but always sprinkled with a bit of hope.
Songs range from loud alternative tunes to slow
acoustic ballads.

Artist History
The three founding members,(Andrew Bell, Geoff
Hesketh, and Nick Fletcher), have been playing
together since late 1995. Many other musicians
came and went. Finally the trio settled down with
bassist Matt Haskins, and formed Listening to
Prozack. The four produced a basement album on
an eight-track recorder entitled Pharmacist George.
After six more months of music, the band
brought in Katy Stoddard to sing on their first
studio album, The Most Spectacular Train Trip in
the World. The albums twelve tracks are original
tunes written by Hesketh, Fletcher, and Bell. |
