Press Reviews
Everything you could ever want in an Alt Country band starts here. Juarez blend a rich mix of Americana subgenre influences to get their own whiskey drinking soundtrack. The singer's voice sounds broken at times, in a throw in the towel and check out vibe. Other times he sounds like he's just had it with life and love. The guitars weep all over the place (especially the undulating tones of the pedal steel), and the acoustics are warmer than a covered batch of fresh corn tortillas. What stands out the most here are the songs: cosmic American musings of heartache, drinking and desert life. -Eric S., Listen.com |
