Artist description
Here Are The Facts You Requested has arrived to clarify the purpose of post alternative pop-a holistic view of music. Their kaleidophonic pop is ambitious, applying artschool dissection to a uniquely open love for all music experiences. The result is ebullient layers of densely conscious moods. |

Artist History
Here Are The Facts You Requested once played to packed and loyal houses throughout the D.C./Baltimore area. Their 1994 farewell concert was held in a century-old cathedral and attracted 300 teary-eyed "research assistants". They relocated to the Bay Area to find their music embraced by the underground surrounding the Burning Man festival. They released an EP, Renshengfengwangjiang, which drew the attention of A&R folks like David Katz Nelson (Flaming Lips) and Alan Stewart (Basehead). To record their first CD, the band built and opened their own professional recording and sound design studio, Abandon Studios. Their crowning achievement, Shocks + Struts is here now on Elevator Pop Gallery and Liberty Bloom Music. Distributed by City Hall. |

Press Reviews
Like all smugly codified traditions, pop music begs to be dismantled, and Here Are The Facts You Requested cheerfully comply -Neva Chonin SF Bay Guardian Imagine Ween with laptops, and I don't mean dances. this is darn right yummy, and includes an askew version of Prince's "1999" that doesn't make me want to destroy the human species. -Thrust Quarterly
