Artist History
"DEMO '99" 7-song CD now on sale!! Stop by my homepage at www.davidpenna.com for more info.Songwriter / producer David Penna began writing his first pop-oriented material in 1995 while working as a full-time freelance drummer appearing on dozens of CDs, several national tours, network television and live with New York City's hottest original bands. He collaborated with singer/songwriter Robert Maynard in 1997 on his first self-produced recording which led to the song "Happy Not Being Sad" appearing on Robert's debut CD. David is currently writing & producing his debut CD, handling all of the vocal and most of the instrumental chores. The album will also feature guest appearances by some of NYC's most talented musicians. He also plans to have his songs recorded by some of today's best Pop / R&B / Rock artists. David's songs "new way" and "erase" are featured in the soundtrack to the new movie "Besotted". |
