Artist History It was nighttime in Claremont--one of those towns where not even the most fanciful dreamer expects anything to happen because, well, nothing had ever happened there before. But there are bound to be exceptions to every rule, even in Claremont, and on this night an exception occurred: Christine Anderson ditched classwork for the first time in her life, and took off in search of a band--something that would rock that town out from under its dustcovering. Over In-N-Out burgers and tumblers of beer-wine, she convinced a curly-haired guitar-jamming boy named Brian to join her. Together they searched for a kickass bass player and a knock-you-out drummer. Brian phoned Doug Rohlfs (later replaced by punkrock riot boy Daren Koch) who brought over a bass and showed the two what he was made of. The three-piece then phoned a record studio in Burbank, requesting the numbers some really awesome drummers. The studio laughed at them, and later by fate the trio ran across Danny. Impressed by the the others' instrumental know-how and pure junkpop sound, Danny joined the crusade, bringing with him a fresh percussive attack and a collection of chocolate-smooth grooves. And Copasetic rocked down to business. This was the beginning...
