    Artist description
"Jim never wears shoes when he drums. He also likes to chew gum while he drums and he always makes horrible orgasmic faces back behind his rototoms there. Matt really likes digital delay pedals and the blues scale. He has red hair and wears a size 7. Acorn never says that much and he's quite tall. He was voted most likely to hurt another member of the band. His bass has little acorns on the fretboard. Neato!" - a fan

    Artist History
Antimony was formed in Jan. 1991 by Jim Frey, Matt LaGoy and Jason 'Acorn' Bryan in Webster, NY out of the demise of 'H2O' with Matt, Jim, and Mike Freedman. Band promptly released 'Antimony!Antimony!' that August, showcasing their high-energy 'semi-metal' sound. Antimony begins gigging in and around Rochester, NY. Band released 'Motorsheep' in April '92 and followed with Hurricane Andrew in Aug.'93. Each album departs further from straight-ahead sound, but a small, loyal following remains despite the band's musical experimentation. Band splits for almost a year. Reformed in June '94 to release live album, 'The Morning After'. Band split and went separate ways: Jim to Boston; Matt to San Diego; Acorn to Vancouver. Antimony reformed in 1999 in San Francisco without Jim. Matt is now filling in for the drums. Jim is still in Boston.
