Artist History Formed in 2000, then unnamed veldman, was preparing to take the nation by storm. James Veldman, front man and drummer for this legendary 4-piece was tired of all the famous bands making 'cool' music. He decided to "stand on the shoulders of those giants," to reach something no OH band had never attained before. Beautiful music. Veldman was going to go solo, but as a drummer, he realized he may have to enlist the help of a few friends. Enter Andy 'Tuckus' Mahoney (bass--the Amatures, One-Point-Two), and Jacob Carpenter (guitar--the Amatures). At the first practice it was apparent that this could be something; Initial was written in one go, and there were ideas for so much more. Later, veldman picked up an additional guitarist, the ever-talented Marc Tesch (guitar--of SoapBox fame). Unfortunately, Andy moved to CA, and Jacob and Marc got married (not to each other!)... but stay tuned to see what the incomparable James Veldman will turn out, next.
