Artist description
Take a very long walk and think about all the things you wish you could tell people. Think of all the bad decisions you ever made. Think about how you felt when you realized how tiny and insignificant you are to the world. Counter that with thoughts of how you'll make a difference sometime in your life. Think about what constitutes that important difference you make in the world. The imprint you leave on earth. Think about the last time you cried. Try to remember why you cried. How foolish you feel now for wasting your tears over that. Now take that walk, and put it into your sense of sound. Put all those feelings you encountered in that walk into a sound. Enter The Broken Concept.

Artist History
From the ruins of another obscure band, Number 2, came The Broken Concept. Sam, Eric and Aki made the transition into The Broken Concept and Dave was acquired. A little bit of material was taken from the Number 2 days, but as soon as The Broken Concept formed new material began emerging. The new band, although almost entirely consistent upon members of Number 2 took an entirely different approach to music making. A fast paced attitude and an insatiable drive to try new things, whether it be hard music, soft music, or not even music at all make The Broken Concept a project forever developing and redefining itself. |
