Artist History
Started off as a school teenage band member and having played with many semi-professional rock-groups by mid 80th, Dmitry Przhedetsky decided to elaborate on more professional approach to the music. He studied a Classic Guitar with a Genius Russian Classic Guitar Guru - Kamill Frauchi. Simultaneously, Dmitry Przhedetsky graduated the Moscow Art University as a Classic Guitarist and accomplished a course of Jazz guitar in the Moscow Musical College famously nicknamed «Gnesinka».
******************************************************************************
A few times Dmitry Przhedetsky performed as a professional musician in the Moscow Variety Theatre and in the world famous Tchaikovsky Hall as a guitarist. He also performed as a member of various rock-groups playing both: covers and original material.
******************************************************************************
Even tried himself as a music teacher Dmitry Przhedetsky finally moved into Mining business due to financial difficulties associated with living of many musicians.
******************************************************************************
Throughout many years of fostering his professional career and immigration to Australia Dmitry Przhedetsky kept on composing songs and never gave up an idea of recording his music.
******************************************************************************
Finally, during his short holiday in Russia in 1999 he recorded his first album named The Beatnik Duckling - purposely distorted name of the most famous story of Hans Christian Andersen.
******************************************************************************
There have been enormous amount of audio engineering involved since the base tracks were completed. A few songs and even sounds had been recorded later in four (!) different countries, such as Russia, Austria, Australia and France before the CD was put together in Moscow by Plitkin's Studio.
******************************************************************************
There is an incredible stress on lyrics, which can be subdivided into three main segments: Political Rock; Philosophical Rock and of course... The Love Songs! The CD should not be defined as any particular genre as it does contain extremely versatile pattern of styles and sounds. Rephrasing an old English proverb one should say: HEARING IS BELIEVING! Try it out!
