A bunch of “fresh” rockabillies determined not to drag the same old sound and give a definite place to a movement often overlooked in our times had just what it takes: Fever, passion, talent, a new sound, incredible energy and dedication beyond words. � We were gonna push and shove and scream until there was no *Dax* left in town. �

Artist History Rosekill was brought together by local pop artist Lili Sweet, creating a sound inspired by the genious of Elvis Presley, the stage presence of Cindy Lauper and great psycho-billy bands like � The Long Tall Texans, The Meteors, The Cramps and The Amazing Crowns. � Together with the raunchy vocals of Lili Sweet (often compared to those of Patti Smith & Gwen Stefani of No Doubt at once), the vigorous and traditional slapped upright bass of Flipper (originally from The Crazy Bullets, first Montreal psychobilly band ever and The Creepers), the amazing playing of multitalented gui-tarist Rogenous (from Vancouver’s island Velvet Elvis,, the “hell comforting” beats of Patrice Lefevre (previously in My Big Wheel) and for a perfect and most complete chemistry, (inheriting the throne of former Rosekill “Gretsch boys” Carey Beck and Rene Garcia) adding a fifth electrifying member to the band: Johnny Lee (ex-vocalist and guitarist for popular ska act the Kingpins) finally, Rosekill was born.
