Artist description
Pynk Slypp started on November 25th, 2001 with the inspiration to record a song in memory of the September 11th tragedy that happened in New York City, 2001. Flewid (lead/rhythm guitarist), a resident of Queens, NY and employed in Manhattan a few miles from ground zero, wrote Pynk Slypp's original song called "Peace of Mind" from his own experiences and feelings about September 11th. In the hope of getting this song recorded, Flewid visited his family in Rhode Island for Thanksgiving where his niece Judith (drums), her good friend Chris (vocals), and family friend Tim (bassist), went to work on this project. In one afternoon the song was recorded on a Roland 8-track digital recorder and burned onto cds for friends and family to hear. At this time, Pynk Slypp only has one song officially written and recorded, but they hope to continue what they have already started... |
