Artist History
Jay and Allie formed Public Access about a year and a half ago with no bass player or vocalist. They evenutally called in some friends and recorded a crappy 4 track demo. Chris and Eric joined the band in January of 2001, and we've been rocking that line-up ever since. A 7 song CD was recorded in December 2001. The CD started the band on a huge year of progress,
steadily gaining a fanbase through massive amounts of shows with great local bands like Plastic Jesus and the Brian Kaplan Band, as well as touring acts such as Worthless United, Motion City Soundtrack, Riddlin' Kids and Wakefield. The band has made appearances on local radio and television, and also played a large part in raising money for various charities through
a series of benefit shows. Public Access is currently working on a brand new EP recorded and produced by Chris Fisher, former frontman of the Albany's legendary Conehead Buddha. |
