Artist History
Formed in 1989, Dagnabbit was comprised of Mike Handler (bass),
Tate Rupprecht (drums), Ed Piotrowski III (keyboards),
and Bob Kuhar (guitar). This lineup wrote and recorded quite a bit
and played in NYC and Philadelphia (and few places between).
A high point for the band during this time was getting
the warmup gig for (drummer) Billy Cobham's trio - what a show!
From 1992 the lineup was Handler (bass), Rupprecht (drums),
Rich Hendrickson (piano & keys), and Mike Harrington
(guitar). During this time Dagnabbit was lucky enough to be invited
by WBJB-FM to do a 1-hour special on the band for their
radio show "Sessions From The Secret Garden", which has
been replayed several times in the following years.....
Recently the band has been rehearsing new material that
Mike Handler has written and the latest addition to 'the crew'
is Jim Vallone - a fantastic drummer and creative mind.
Dagnabbit plans on recording the new material in the
very near future with limited gigs to follow in the
NYC area........
Stay tuned! |
