Artist description In an industry torn between artistic credibility and commercial viability, Devon Green's music provides that rare sound that satisfies the demands of both criteria. On the one hand, Devon Green is steeped in the kind of thick, lush pop-rock melodies and indelible hooks that send the chills down the back of your neck; on the other, one finds a sardonic, self-deprecating, keenly-observant lyrical sensibility that wears its heart on the sleeve of a comfy college sweatshirt, yet still chills to the bone. Forming in 1995 this three piece rock trio has grow up together proving that rock music is only as true as the artist that make it. "All we have ever wanted was to make music that is honest, yet fun to listen to. Like all real artist, at the end of the day thats all we want, to have songs we are proud of." says singer-guitarist Gavin Conner; and over the last seven years they have done exactly that. Playing live shows throughout the Northern Virginia area and recording three studio albums in Fredericksburg,VA, Devon Green has created a sound as exciting and original as its creators. With songs ranging from catchy power-pop, to emotionally fueled ballads, Devon Green fully covers the spectrum and leaves listeners connected and bound by a common love for honest music.
