Artist History Formed in the deserts of west Texas, Buzzbomb has landed in Austin, Texas. Buzzbomb combines heavy guitar driven riffs with a one of a kind melody to create a dynamic sound. Their powerful, cohesive songs are drawn from their diverse influences in the world of music. With the relocation of the band to Austin and the addition of a new and powerful lead vocalist, Buzzbomb has evolved into a new and improved powerhouse ready to conquer the world. Their debut album is set to hit the stores in late 2001. Jaime Cavazos (lead vocal), Derek Halfmann (guitar), Judd Webb (bass), and Jeff Storey (drums & vocals) have combined their writing and stage presence to create a heavy sound with a strong sense of melody. Live performances and song writing are the main focuses of the band. Buzzbomb has recently expanded their audience base and are steadily getting their music out to the masses. They have performed on a variety of college communities including SWT (San Marcos) and ASU (San Angelo). They have had the opportunity to open for the Blue Oyster Cult and perform live on the KLBJ Morning Show (Austin).
