Artist description My music name is Xavi, which is shortened verion of my full name Xavier Calvera. I'm a singer-songwriter. I was born in Cuba but have lived in the US since I was fourteen. I've been playing rock'n'roll and writting songs ever since. Think of Lennon- McCartney with a Cuban accent and you are close! I've recorded three CD's, a solo one, Dragon Masters with was done in 1998, one with Roy Tooth (2000) and one with Susi McRoberts, "Capitan Sunshine," which was completed in 2001. Currently I'm working on a solo acoustic album. We have a recording studio and a CD label (www.lordtiger.com)at 6719 Comstock Ave., Whittier Ca. We play there every Saturday night, come on by!
