Artist description
New Wine has a variety of sounds, from traditional Native American Flute, Irish Whistle to some rock inspired jazz fusion.
We are a band of 5 members with Sax/Flute/whistle and ethnic flute lead, keys, drums bass guitar and a wide variety of ethnic percussion.
We do some acoustic stuff, with guitar and Irish whistle, all the way to flute solos. We are constantly evolving our style, hence the name for our first collaberative CD -
Never the Same. |

Artist History
New Wine came together in 1998, and began playing a few coffeehouses here and there.
We have played bigger gigs at churches and at the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden. Our sound is ever changing,
hence the name of our first album - Never The Same. |

Group Members
Sax lead has 26+ years of experience and has played all over the world, and plays locally for profit on a regular basis.
Keyboard/vintage saxman has played on international tour for 3 years, and has a very simple syncopated style on synthesizer.
Our Drummer is 20 years old and has a hip-hop background which lends a very interesting sound to some of our tunes.
Our talented Bass man has played guitar since he could walk. Our ethnic percussion/acoustic guitar guy is there. |
