BRIEF SYNOPSIS
(taken from bizarreredemption.com)
To put it simply, this is a project that has been neglected and overlooked for about 2 years or so. It started off as a project of one Jared Taylor, who had been playing in and writing with a few people. After agreeing to do the vocal part for a song Steve Beecham had showed him on a message board, the two eventually started collaborating.
There was a dead zone of about 6-8 months where they were both in their own worlds, writing and playing in various bands, doing their own thing. Jared was continuing on with Bizarre Redemption, with an actual group of people. They got so far as to recording their "Lights In The Sky" EP, before dire circumstances caused the EP to be lost, and as a result, the band fell apart.
Later, they reformed, and ended up once again recording an EP, this time their "Reflect" EP, before breaking up.
There was another dead zone following this, in which Steve was focusing on his own material and personal life. The two eventually got back into contact, and decided to ressurrect the idea they had a long, long time ago.
Bizarre Redemption was actually supposed to be only Steve and Jared in the beginning, as the main song-writers; they would each have a seperate band on both sides of the country, and go around playing songs they did the vocal parts for. Eventually they hoped to trek across the country, meet up, and do a full tour. This idea never happened.
But now things have gotten a bit more realistic.
Steve is currently recording all the material in his home to release on bizarreredemption.com, simply to put to rest this project that was never quite finished.
This is but a rather brief and vague synopsis of what this whole project is all about; in the coming weeks, you'll find out more.
Stay tuned.
