Artist description
Musician, Composer, Producer, Phil has worked with a number of bands over the years and produced several young up & coming artists from his studio. He has just released his first solo album, Philistein, which offers an eclectic collection of songs from dance and rock, to humour (such as the single I Hate Rap), jazz, big ballads and more atmospheric pieces. There is a definite retro feel to some of the songs, with influences ranging from Iggy Pop to the Who and Zappa, but also more recent references like The Chemical Brothers, Moby, and Fatboy Slim. For all this mix of styles it holds together very well as an album, and there is a definite originality to all the material. Artist History
Phil Moore has been a musician and producer for many years, but Philistein is the first solo release he has done. It is a culmination of all his years of experience in studios and on the stage, and effortlessly moves from big ballads to heavy rock, techno and light-hearted send-ups. |
