Artist description
Nail My Enemy is a crossover band from Mumbai India formed in the late 90's(around1998). They were formerly known as 'The Mothers Of F'. This band was reformed only with a pure intention of creating and exploring uncharted areas of human emotions whereby each and every members of this band gets to express himself clearly.
Politics has always been the topic for Nail My enemy to abuse about and if the listeners find anything beyond that, is definitely an added advantage. Nail My Enemy hopes that listeners not only focus on music but also on words where honest emotions are put in. The basic aim of this band is not only to expose the corruptive deeds of politicians and bureaucrats but also to tell people to act on their own and save the system before it becomes a total demockery.
The original members of this band were: Somnath (who handled the vocal job in 1998. Mood Indigo), Clinton (Guitarist, ex-scag, quit the band because of his work, which is based in Qatar) and Rohit (bass) had to leave the band because of his academic pursuit of computer engineering. With the departure of Clinton and Rohit, the founding and original members of this band i.e. Jatin and Kalpesh had no option but to look for new members who could fill the space of bassist and vocalist. In comes David who played bass for an alternative rock band called Skeptics (band doesn't exist anymore). Nishant joins the band within weeks after David to handle to vocal department.
The moniker 'Nail My Enemy' is a abstract term directed towards those people who never work for the betterment of society in turn wants to exploit the people with their money and power and create a divide amongst people in the name of religion, caste and creed for their own stupid gains.
The members have assorted musical influence ranging from punk to extreme death metal. The album/demo will be out in mid 2002.
