Artist History We come from a variety of musical tradtions in Carbondale, IL, a small college town known regionally for it's diverse nature. The Bourbon Knights started as a fun, kind of not-so-serious acoustic project, taking musical cues from Mortimer and Patrick's former groups, Sleipnir and Ticklepenny. These two bands graced the small clubs and coffeehouses of the downtown Chicago and southern Illinois areas during the mid/late 1990's.
