Press Reviews
Swoop is bursting into the local music scene with their Harmony laced Acoustic works. With just their Acoustic guitars, traditional drums and their voices this young trio is showing us what can be done with so very little. Catchy guitar riffs and amazing jam sections are what set this young group apart from the crowd. Their first musical offerings, The Beginning, and On My Way, show their songwriting talent and freedom. Bringing together the Acoustic guitar skills of masters like Ben Harper and Arlo Guthrie, with a Dispatch/Phish like vocal quality, Swoop gives us something rarely heard. We are told that new songs are just around the corner. If these next songs are anything like the first two, we are in for a treat in the up and coming Acoustic folk/alt/rock genre. In Swoop's own words:
"We are just in it for the pure fun and love of making that beautiful sound. When we get together we just start to play what comes. In this sense our music could be called Modern Acoustic Rock Soul Music. We just let it all come out
