Artist description
Kyle Everett is a singer/songwriter from Stillwater, OK inspired by the Red Dirt music scene that includes the likes of The Great Divide, The Red Dirt Rangers, Jason Boland and The Stragglers, Bob Childers, Cross Canadian Ragweed, and Stoney LaRue. Kyle started playing music on The Strip in Stillwater like all the previously mentioned artists. Now living in Oklahoma City, Kyle is currently writing songs and performing acoustic shows to promote his recently released debut CD titled Water for My Horses. The project was recorded at Cimarron Sound Lab in Tahlequah, OK with Jason Boland and The Stragglers (Roger Ray, Brad Rice, Grant Tracy, and Dana Hazzard). The CD was co-produced by Jeffrey Gray Parker and The Stragglers, and contains 8 tracks penned by Kyle along with songs by Jason Boland and Missouri songwriter Dave Carr. |
