Press Reviews
"The bombastically named Karmafantastica are keeping alive a musical tradition that has all but been ruined by its own vanity in the past few years. For some reason, the Emo Kids think they have cornered the market on emotions (what was that whole Soul thing about then?) and I usually find these kids sort of pretentious. But this is not the case with Karmafantastica, who can establish a simple mood, express basic emotion, and create a catchy tune without wallowing in the mire of introspection and self-absorption that is way too common in the genre these days.
It’s just a dude and his acoustic guitar, but this is at least as effective at creating that Emo vibe as the fast-paced, distortion-laden variety that is slightly more celebrated in these dark, mandroid-infested days of the early 21st century." - Godsofmusic.com |
