Artist description Iceland has in later years become known for spawning interesting and exotic music. The strangeness of the land itself and the highly cultivated, yet isolated community seems to generate a special atmosphere that allows creative talents to flourish. I have been most graciously allowed to introduce you to yet another offspring of this mystical environment. A band called DREP... The raw essence of their music is rock with a few drops of metallic sounds added at the later stage of the cooking but then comes the incredible mixing with that Icelandic weirdness containing elements from raging volcanoes, frozen waterfalls and the eerie stillness of a snowy, windswept wasteland. I am one of those who have had the luck to see the band live and they're simply incredible. Not caring at all if there are 10 or 10000 listeners but always playing at maximum energy level.
