Artist History
Born Bill Jason Hendricks, on July 8th 1980. Born to
two loving parents Bill and Gracie Hendricks. Since
a child he has been immersed with a wide variety of
different musical genres. Metal, Classical, and Flamenco
were the main influences in his young ears. From
years with being with his father who listened to
early hard rock such as Deep Purple, Black Sabbath,
Cream. His mother gave him the influences of the
Spanish culture. Flamenco and traditional spanish
music were always being played. And his Grandparents
who with the aid of his parents brough Classical
music into the picture. Wanting the play the guitar
since he was 7 never really had the discipline
or the attentiveness for the instrument til he was
the age of 15.
"I've always wanted to play the guitar. When I
turned 15 something inside its time to buy a guitar.
Bought my first guitar and then I was blown away
by a guitarist by the name of Joe Satriani. Astounded
I wanted to play like that. Then came Steve Vai and
of course Yngwie J. Malmsteen. I knew then what I
was going to play on the guitar. I was going to be
a fusion of my three main and biggest influences.
Now everyday since then when I first heard the three
masters of the guitar I have set my sights forward
to become a proficient guitarist. Always being a
perfectionist and trying to accomplish my goals.
Now I have written two CD's that I bring to you. One
is a Rock EP and the other is my Classical Concerto
that I have written in the past 6 months. The Rock
EP will be available first. With the Concerto following
shortly. I also had a dream when I was 8 years old.
My elementary school took my class to see the local
symphony all the time. Intrigued by the explosivness
of the orchestra I was enamored with the notion of being
able to have the Guitar with the orchestra. My obession
with the guitar and symphony has always been with
me but never materialized til this year. After Yngwie
Malmsteen wrote and performed his Classical piece.
I was inspired to do the same for myself. Having
the previous thought that my idea would not work
was only boosted by his composition and performance.
Hopefully with GOD's help I will get to perform my
classical concerto with a symphony and that to me
would be a GOAL achieved and I would owe it all to
the Glory of God..

Reviewed Song : Jason Hendricks - Son Of Thunder
Awesome neo-classical guitar riffage. This song is intense shred guitar
well played. It gives all us new guitarists out here something to shoot for.

J Hendrik
"Andante"...some likes Yngwie malmsteen! i think!.....
You have good reason to be proud......what an opus!
The sign of a good musician is when he starts to enjoy the stuff he/she writes and plays....and you stop writting what you think people would like to hear...
Well done!
Keep it up!
