Artist description
For the most part, Visceral Surveillance creates harsh, dislocated rhythms and atmospheric tones. If someone pinned me down to talking about genres, I would say that I dabble in IDM(whatever that is), rhythmic noise, dark ambient, and glitch. I don't really think It's terribly productive to trap any form of art within a frame, however. Visceral Surveillance is cold electronic music. |

Artist History
Visceral Surveillance was created during the first few months of 2000. I was working on alot of powernoise at the time, and Visceral Surveillance became a more fluid outlet for creativity. I didn't start recording Landscape Augmentation, the first album until early 2001, but I had been writing some of the songs as early as 1999. I finished recording it in late October of 2001, so I feel like the album is contained nicely within one year. |

Group Members
Michael Inger is the only core member behind Visceral Surveillance.
However, Shawn Bauguess handles most of the visual side of things, and that's very important for this project. The aesthetics of the project must be properly represented. |
