Artist History
Formed in 1999 in New York City, the Endless began
as the brainchild of bandmates singer/lyricist
Adriana Róze, her husband and guitarist David Róze,
and singer/lyricist Amani Malaika.
The band is an ideal collaboration for Adriana
and David to bring their extensive musical
backgrounds together with their closest friends. A classically trained cellist, David had played guitar and bass for such New York bands as Neycha and The Benjamin Cartel. He has performed at such venues as CBGB’s and the Izzy Bar. Adriana’s vocal skills come from a lifetime performing in theatre and film. Little did Adriana and David dream when they were singing together in high school choir that they would end up married and rocking New York!
The Endless made their debut at New York’s famous
BMW Bar and were an instant hit. As the project
took shape, Amani left to pursue a solo career
and the band lineup was made complete by the
addition of David’s cousin Chuck Skelton on bass,
keyboards, and programming. A successful techno
artist in his own right, Chuck is the owner of
Clean Records. The Endless moved to Los Angeles
in 2001 and have performed at The Crooked Bar and
The Evidence Room. They are currently are at work
on their first E.P., Grumpy Ghost, to be released
December 2001. |
