Artist History Rain In Seattle started with myself, Patric Fallon, playing on the closest available guitar out of boredom, sadness, inspiration, or whatever made me play. I was born and raised in California, and started this around my freshman year of high school. I didn't name what I was doing but just recorded a tape in my brother's room with a karaoke machine for fun. Needless to say I've moved on and in my senior year I started it all back up for my senior project.  For my project I said I would record an EP in a digital studio. I did just that, and I called it Horrible Examples of Terrible Photographs. I got an A, of course, and didn't let it stop there. After showing a few friends the EP, and getting some good responses, I decided to play shows and try to see what I could do with my idea. Every show I'd play I ended up almost selling out of my new batch of CD's and was constantly having to make more. This was encouraging, but also made me think that I should really look for the help of a label to help me make my CD's and send me off to play a few more shows. My influences have ranged from Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, and Denison Witmer to Joan of Arc, Tristeza, Tortoise, and Mogwai and are always expanding. I don't consider myself soley a musician, but an artist as well. I don't want to just provide people with entertainment, I want to try to do something, say something, or just share something that makes people think or atleast feel. That is my aspiration for Rain In Seattle. I now reside in Chicago, and still plan on taking Rain In Seattle to it's fullest extent. Thanks for reading. Take care.
