Artist description
"Their unique use of the keyboard shows that Making It Right has
potential in a world gone mad over 80's synthesizers" - cincypunk.com
Making It Right has risen out of the sewers of suburban Boston to bring
their own unique brand of pop music gone horribly right to the area,
headlining shows at the Hatch Shell, Met Cafe, and T.T. the Bears'. The
four piece's sound lies somewhere between Ben Folds and the Postal
Service, with tinges of Saves the Day and Fountains of Wayne mixed in.
upbeetmusic.com describes the band's songs as "undeniably catchy" "Piano
Rock that isn't black and white." The Scene According to... describes the
oft-personal lyrics as "witty, heartfelt, and beautiful without even a
glance at punk rock chords, and emo screams".
After finishing their new EP, "Biggest Story Ever", the band embarked
on a summer tour of the Eastern and Midwestern United States. The 7
track EP was produced by the band over a four month period in
Massachusetts. The CD, according to reviews, "will leave you humming
along all day".
