Artist History The new Swedish metal act KODEEN was born from the remains of a previous existing metal band called Mindtrigger in the end of year 2000. KODEEN was a natural step for the more creative members of Mindtrigger to take, in order to develop new ideas with other musicians, to get a more melodic and more varied direction of the music which has become the trademark of KODEEN today. Together with a new recruited drummer and a fresh bass player, the band started to rehearse with the goal to find a raw and unique sound. KODEEN became a unified force when Magnus Fast (Captor) joined the band in early 2001. Magnus’ vocal strengths and abilities as a songwriter completed their search and moved the band forward, with an eagerness to constantly evolve. The band has a lot of experience in playing live and making records in on-going and previous projects. To see KODEEN play live is a must for people that love a high energy, exciting and professional performance. KODEEN´s music, with it´s multi-layered attack of pure aggression, scathing melody and lyrical content will assault and infect anything that it comes in contact with. All members are determined to be the next "big thing" of the metal scene in a very near future.
