Artist History
shroeder is a rock band. five close knit friends that hope and aspire only to be the best rock band we can be. the five of us draw from our own inspirations - other music, movies, art, and all the people/things we have come into contact with that have shaped us to be the people we are - and channel those inspirations into the music we write together. we are formed on no single principle. if our music feels and sounds good to us when we write and play it, we stick with it. we try to avoid being lumped into one musical genre, and we will never corner ourselves into one exact style of writing. we write the songs, they are made for us, by us - not to appeal to a certain demograhpic. that said, we hope that everyone can find something in our music to rock to.
the full effect of shroeder cannot be encompassed into a recording. we have to be experienced in the flesh - the sights, the sounds, the tastes, and the smells make our music what it is. on the stage or in the studio, we simply rock as hard as we can. we hope to inspire or evoke some emotion from everyone that happens to hear what we do - the eyes, ears, and opinions of all the people that listen to music are infinitley malleable....
hopefully everyone will have something to discuss after they see us live!
