Artist description Steel Affliction was formed in early 2000 as a project of pure steel. The idea, was to create the greatest "METAL" band that Australia could possibly offer, combining speed metal guitar work, Rickenbacker bass brutality, jack hammering drum work and alcohol induced vocal mania. The band is comprised of 4 talented, dedicated and professional members hailing from various other Melbourne bands such as Earth, The Berzerker and Abremelin who have joined forces to create the greatest heavy metal band imaginable and hold the torch of true metal high. With influences such as Manowar, Soilwork, Iron Maiden, Children of Bodom, Pantera and Judas Priest, Steel Affliction embody the true meaning of metal and MUST be seen to be believed. From Gin swilling mayhem, Double Kick warfare and duelling Bass and Lead Guitar breaks, Steel Affliction turn the stage into a battlefield of metal. Tracks to keep an eye out for are Hell of a Time, High Speed Burn, and Artilleries Command. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for upcomming gigs.
