Artist History Artist history Whirl is the band of Nikki Maoz, a young up & coming vocalist/guitarist/songwriter. Nikki's sound can best be described as mainstream/alternative pop/rock music. Her strong songwriting and powerful, distinctive voice make Whirl exceptionally chart and radio friendly. Nikki has spent the last few years in England fronting her own band, writing and recording. Her endeavors earned her a publishing deal with the 6th largest independent music publishing company in the UK. She has performed extensively in London, to rave reviews, at such well-known venues as the Mean Fiddler, the Underworld, and the Barfly. Recently, Nikki has returned to the USA and is performing regularly in New York City with her new line-up. Her promotional CD is a collection of demos recently made in New York.
