Artist History Starting out as a guitar player, I went to school at Berklee School of Music but my fascination with synthesizers led me to transfer to Virginia Commonwealth University and study in their electronic music department for a year. In the early 80's I left for NYC to play guitar in a short-lived band headed up by Buzzcocks bassist, Steve Garvey. During my time there, my interest in synth music turned me to working with techno bands such as Krisma and Oh-Boy in alternate studios like Peter Baumann's home studio. My professional life as guitarist grew by joining Dave Adam's Glassmoon and the Richmond VA band, Ten Ten. My "hobby" was creating ambient tracks, collecting loops and samples from my commercial sessions and piecing them together later. After switching careers in the mid 90's to new media design, I still kept a hand in instrumental music, occasionally, then in 2000 when I had a little extra time, I started work on my home studio and have been working on layers of sound and noise since. - Don
