Artist History
“I grew up in the house Muddy Waters died in and was so fascinated with him and his music that I learned everything I could about it.” The son of music lovers, Moushon spent much of his time around the house listening to artists such as The Beach Boys, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles. “ I used to go home after school and sit in my room listening to AC/DC’s "Back In Black" album, from my father’s record collection, while banging on a drum set my parents bought for me.” Listening to Moushon brings to mind the sounds of Train, John Mayer, Edwin McCain, Tonic, Pete Yorn and Five For Fighting all rolled into one. His full, intense and gutsy vocals complement his blues rock style. His concerts incorporate both original music and songs by other well-known artists. |
