Artist History
The band was originally formed in 2000 by two students of "1st Russian Classical Music School": composer, conductor and classical guitarist Lex Carpenter and operatic singer Sebastian Trifonoff. Their old-time friend drummer and sound engineer Tommy Tokmakoff joined the band several month after. Mechanical Poet has recorded three demos: 'Vector-Man', 'The Curse' and 'Trace of the Dead Leaf' and started to work on a high-quality promotional CD 'Handmade Essence' in 2002. Unfortunately, in the middle of studio session the singer decided to leave the band. After more than hundred auditions the band found new singer Max Samosvat. |
