Artist description Nowadays, it almost seems like there are more sub-genres of music than there are good bands. Behind the clutter of punk, pop-punk, nu metal, tech metal, emo, emo-core, pop-emo-core, rap-rock, and about a million other labels, something has been lost. No one's talking about the fundamental foundation that we all share and love-the one thing that sustains everything else. No one's talking about rock 'n' roll. Payload, based in Burlington Ontario just outside of Toronto, is a four-piece rock 'n' roll band. No gimmicks, no labels, no restrictive definitions. Just good, straight-up rock.
