Artist History
Originally formed in 1988 by Cindy Lee Haddock and Lynn Keeling, this version wrote several tunes but never went to stage. After a few song awards were won, Cindy found some musicians to take the sound onstage. Several personnel changes later, Open Window found itself in the Best of Texas and Nukes By No Nukes music showcases, and had released the two albums "Last Day of Winter" and "Warm Fuzzies." It managed to attract several industry reps and celebrities to its gigs, but never got actually signed, but did get airplay on several Austin cable music shows. After finally getting several out of town gigs, the band broke up due to 3 of the band members deciding to raise families. It is currently in hiatus while Cindy Lee looks for musicians who aren't afraid to get signed. |
