Artist History As he walked to a destination unknown, and pondered what his life would be like, Lawrence came across a guitar. This was not just a piece of wood with metal strings on it. No, it was a tool to convey the feelings and visions of this 10-year-old boy. There is no better way to express oneself than through songs, and at a very early age Lawrence realized this. His passion was music. Not aware of where this instrument would take him, Lawrence played because he cherished it. Not for his friends, who loved to hear “the new song of the week”, or his parents, who always pushed him to do what he loved most. Lawrence played because he could not open himself up in any other way better than this. Attending Dillard School of the Arts was basically a fluke for him, because even though he knew what he sought to do, no movement was made to attain that goal, and that’s where he met Adam. In Adam, Lawrence found a true friend, which is unbelievably hard to find. And, on top of that, he found a most creative and talented human being, whose ability is never-ending. With Lawrence writing the songs and Adam playing bass and handling the flipside of the industry, they established what is currently Founded. It was a pure twist of fate that they found Ben, who is a remarkable percussionist and whose skills have only just begun to come to him. He and Adam became friends before they realized that Ben was a drummer, and Founded, needing a drummer, was ecstatic when he agreed to join the band. Ben, charismatic and creative, brought a flavor to Founded that gave the band a spanking new sound. Everything is slowly falling into place for Founded, and because of this creation a whole new sound has come to South Florida. A band with talent, originality, and style, Founded is distinctive in all aspects. With inspirations from Dave Matthews to Incubus. From System of a Down to John Mayer, a new and intriguing sound has arrived, and the possibilities are infinite. With determination and drive Founded will slowly but surely make its way to the pinnacle of success..
