Artist History
Spanning from all parts of the country, The Hype was formed in 1999, consisting of BRANDON JONES (vocals, guitars), GREG MOYA (bass, vocals),
RYAN CLARKE (drums), BART BIL (keyboards, vocals), and RYAN LOWRY (lead guitar). They gained experience in numerous bands in locations such as: Connecticut, Florida, Colorado, and Virginia. As their individual bands fell by the wayside, it was only a matter of time before these five like-minded musicians got together to develop something new. They've extracted different influences and styles, incorporating them into all aspects of their image and sound. |

Press Reviews

Though not particularly brutal, this record has a dark sound to it. Opting for carrying a tune rather than screaming and roaring, the vocals are well sung and the instrumentation is tight..." |
