Group Members
Blake (Lead vocals, acoustic/rhythm guitar)
Blake Harlow is an established soloist in
Baton Rouge blues clubs and cafés with a
knack for soul. On stage he holds nothing back,
and brings the pure sounds of Southern and
classic rock to new levels. Blake founded the
Bankwalkers to continue a project he started as
an extension of his solo career called simply,
The Blake Harlow Band.
George (lead guitar)
George Bensabat is a schooled jazz and funk
guitarist who gets to show his dirty side as
a Bankwalker. George has sat in with many
great jazz musicians and has been a member in
several ensembles. He throws out solos
reminiscent of Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith with
a touch of his own "I'm not as old as them"
attitude.
Pat (drums)
Patrick O'Brien is the backbone of the
Bankwalkers. He keeps the time and makes sure
to add his own taste to the songs. Patrick
joined the Bankwalkers after a three year run
with an original reggae and funk band called
Slim Martini.
Dave (bass guitar)
Veteran string-slapper and fashion guru, Dave
Holeman knows his way around a bass. Dave has
been in the Baton Rouge music scene for several
years and has established himself as a steady
workhorse and a hell of a bassist. Dave
co-founded a band called Crosstown Traffic in
the mid nineties, and the project continued on
to be a great success through the end of the
decade. |
