Intoxicated Bugs/Scrotum (7") OK this is a split from the two most metallic sounding punk/hardcore bands in DK. Intoxicated Bugs (IB) play really distorted and downtuned punk with a dirty, aggressive vocal, without it's being too metal. But what makes IB speciel, is that they also play straight forward punk, but still I really dig their sound. The lyrics are concerning hangover, social issues, religion and narrowminded punx, or more exact that being punk is a lousy excuse for being a narrow minded dumb piece of trash. I think the song concerning religion ("please behave") is fucking awesome, it's by far one of my favorite punksongs! Scrotum have a more hardcore sound than IB. It's really aggressive and sometimes they are almost as brutal as Belgian deathcore devils Deformity. They play really tight and have alot of breakdowns, which makes the music quite varied. Every time they use the dubblepedals I just have to move my butt and mosh around, it's fucking awesome. The vocals are great and fits well into the music, and with two vocals that makes a good variation as well. The lyrics are concerning intolerance in the scene, social issues, extreme feminists and a whole song is foremost dedicated to a stupid right wing nazi politician (Pia K) from DK. This song is in danish and really funny. I think the song "intolerance" is the best on their side, but all the songs more or less rule. So why don't you move your ass away from that fanzy internet-thing, you're sitting in front of and drooling all over, and go get this release.

Intoxicated Bugs
Smadderpunk! Ganske enkelt genialt!
