Artist description
Just over three years ago, this band from the Rio Grande Valley was formed. And like their namesake, NaCl has become a sought-after seasoning, a staple in the live music diet, and a force of nature in rock-n-roll and rock en Espanol. They are the pre-eminent original band in the Valley, gigging anywhere and everywhere with more regularity than the biggest Metamucil fan. And after a grueling summer of shows at home, on the road, and in Mexico, NaCl has made the geographic move to Central Texas, San Marcos to be exact, in order to open up the entire region for their brand of double barrel buckshot of Tex-Mex rock.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The migration is a natural follow up to their summer-long tour to support their second CD, their first 'todo espanol' release - 'Que Diablos'. The range, scope, and power of 'Que Diablos' are evident in every track. Quite simply, you have never heard anything like it before. There will, of course, be the simple comparisons to Mana, or the stylings of Enrique Iglesias and Juan Gabriel, but they will merely be starting points on the road of description for NaCl. Thinking ahead, NaCl recorded dozens of performances to produce their new, live double-disc - 'Wanted: NaCl - Alive!', two hours and forty minutes of incredible energy and music. |

Artist History
In this day and age where careers can be made on a computer, NaCl is determined to make 'the show' a priority in their music and in their lives. Which is only to be expected from a band that takes its name from the periodic table of elements; the foundation is the primary, everything else is window dressing. They can live with that, and we can, too!
