Artist description I started writing songs when I was 15 years old. Ever since I started writing my songs they have been about my reality. I get my inspirations from the streets, the hustle and all the serious rappers. I don't lie in my lyrics because I want to keep it real. My lyrics are about selling and smoking the herb, hanging with hard headed people, stealing, robbing and other things that many people from the lower comunities go through. There are many rappers in Sweden and I give them alot of love, but the most of them rap in Swedish and they don't rap about crime that often. They mostly have a more old school rap style than mine. My dream is to make my music world wide so everybody can hear what goes on in Sweden. Everybody already knows what goes on in the states, but not many know what goes on in different European countries.

Artist History Tristan Overgaard AKA Mr. Loco was born in Novato, California 1981. He grew up with his mother in the bay Area and when he was 10 his mother passed away. She lived a criminal life and died for it. 1991 Loco's father came over to Cali to take Loco to Sweden hoping things would get better, but as Loco got older he started walking in his mom's path. At the age of 14 he was out vandalizing the town where he lived and when he got older he started selling illegal things and smoking weed with his friends. November 1998 Loco's father found out about it and in January 1999 Loco got sent to a juvenile home for six weeks. After those six weeks passed, he was only free for a couple of months, then in June 1999 he got sent to another juvenile home and was suppose to do 1-3 years, but escaped after 10 months. He was lucky because they let him go. After that he started living the same kind of life again. November 2000 he got threatened to his life by another gang in his neighbor hood. At first he wanted to retaliate, but after a short time he came to grips with what he was doing and got out the game. Now the only thing that matters to him is to try to get signed to a record label. He discovered his rhyme skills when he was 15, but didn't record until 1999. He now has sent his demo to some labels and is hoping on the best. His plan is to start what he calls "Thug Rap" or "Gangsta Rap" in Sweden and to do it in English so that the rest of the world can hear it because almost all the rappers in Sweden Rap in Swedish and most of their lyrics are just showing off their rhyme skills. Mr. Loco's lyrics are alot deeper then that and are about alot of teenagers reality's across the world. Maybe not as violent as others, but it's still reality.
