Artist History
Mary Lee has written songs for other artist (Amy Grant, ONce Blue among many
others) and has sung background on records by artist ranging from Freedy
Johnston to The Bottle Rockets to Billy Joel to Placido Domingo. Her first
record was recorded in 2 days live to two track and self-released in 1997.
It made it to Billboard's Ten Best Records of The Year list. A recording
contract followed, resulting in 1999's "True Lovers of Adventure", named the
Best Record of 1999 by Billboard Magazine.
