Artist description Altered State is..., lead vocalist, Lorna Dowell, equipped with a set of natural "internal Scottish pipes", that bely out that sweet sound called rock'n'roll, guitarist, Biman Bharadwaj, a purist, believing that rock music is best created employing a Gibson, a Marshall head, speaker cabinet, and a cord, bassist, Jim Doyle, a musician with heart, living true to the adage "work hard, play harder" and, Dean Walsh, drummer extraordinaire, known for his ability to keep time with the horny cricket that has made a home in the practice studio. A hard-working rock band in the Canadian tradition, Altered State brings together many perosnal facets; a burning desire to create, coupled with frustration at life's progress.
