Artist History Michael trance has been djing for about 16 years now. He started off like every other dj, very young and in the bedroom constantly practicing.At about 14 he had already began doing mobile dj services and swinging from house party to house party trying to get a break.Of course he began to gain notice from older promoters from the neighborhood and so he landed some spots at some events which brought about a new era to the club scene all at the age of 16.By this time Michael had made lots of contacts and friends with all the promoters and they began to sneak him in to some of the hottest 18 , 21 and over clubs to spin the opening sets. As this went on Michael began making a name for himself in the LA club scene , but by this time he had also branched out into the underground techno scene as well becoming known as a well diversified young dj.But this wasnt enough , so Michael began to make his way into the radio bizz and he began his own radio mixshow on 107.1 fm called Rage Radio.Still after that dream he began submitting demo mixs to local LA radio stations , where 1 of his mixs landed him in the top 4 of 1 of the biggest dj contests in all of Cali. in 1994 on Power 106fm home to the infamous mixshow Powertools hosted by Richard Humpty Vission.This exposure broke Michael through to an all new dance scene in LA all at the age of 18.At this time Michael was well on his way to accomplishing some great things with music and he toyed with the idea of 1 day writing and producing his own music.By the age of 20 Michael had joined forces with Richard Humpty Vission to mix weekly on the Powertools show aired every saturday night on Power 106 fm.This now launched Michaels dj career to another level and at the same time he began to sit in recording studios with friends of his and learn his way around and start producing his own tracks which were soon released not too long after.Michael has had releases on SHR U.C Music ,Aqua Boogie ,Abstract , Greedy and other known dance labels. Soon after this his career as a dj/producer now became prevelant to others, he began to travel across the U.S and spread his unique dj style and music to all who appreciated the whole dj culture. Michael has paid some serious dues as all djs do to get to where they want to be , but its a never ending process ,as he continues to produce and mix his way to the top.Michael Trance has played with names such as Armand Van Helden, Bad Boy Bill , C.L McSpadden , Space girl , Cajmere ,Darude , Donald Glaude, Thee-o ,Junior Sanchez, Kimball Collins and many others.
